What happens if I don't renew my domain name?

If you don't renew your domain then web site or email services based on the domain will not work because the domain will no longer be active.

The below symptons may be the result of a domain not being renewed:

  • Web site down
  • Can't receive emails

If you registered your domain name through Purple Serve, there is an option within the Client Area > My Domains to enable Auto Renew. This will ensure you domain name is automatically renewed so that all web/email services remain active.

Please note: If you have enabled the Auto Renew, please ensure your chosen payment method has the correct details or you have a sufficient Credit Balance.
