Transferring a CentralNic Domain to Purple Serve

Before initiating the transfer of your domain name to our company, please make sure that:

  1. The domain name to be transferred is not in 'locked' Status. If your domain is locked, please contact your current domain registrar to have the domain unlocked.
  2. You have access to the administrative contact email for the domain (shown as ADMIN-C on a whois lookup). An email has to be sent to that address with a link that is followed to authorise the transfer. Please ensure the administrative email address is correct and that you have access to it before inititating the transfer. Most providers will allow you to update this yourself online, though some will need you to email or fax them to get this done.
  3. To check the domain’s current registrar and admin contact email address, enter the domain name in the check a domain box found on our Domain Checker page.
  4. You can provide us with the domain EPP key code, applying to domains for which there is such a code. Please note that EPP codes are case sensitive.
  5. There are more than 15 days until the domain name's expiration date.
  6. The domain name was registered for the first time more than 60 days ago.
  7. The domain name has an extension that Purple Serve are able to register.

If these conditions are present then you can order a domain name transfer from your Client Area.
